The Client
The Anderson Arts Center is a non-profit arts center located in downtown Anderson, South Carolina. The Arts Center was established in 1972 in a historic building. Their mission is to bring an appreciation of the arts to the people of South Carolina. They concentrate more specifically on the upstate and immediate Anderson area. The Arts Center provides various classes and events, has rotating gallery exhibitions open to the public, supports local artists, and engages in the community through art.

What is the problem?
There is a need for the arts in Anderson County.
How can we frame this as a design question?
How can this website encourage interest in the arts?
What is the ultimate impact?
For the community of Anderson, South Carolina to be interested and involved in the arts?
What are possible solutions to the problem?
Classes and events related to the arts will lead to community involvement. An effective website will provide a place to register for these events online, will display clear hierarchy, intuitive design, and easy to navigate for the user.
What are some constraints and context to consider?
This problem is limited to Anderson County as the Anderson County Arts Center is a local non-profit organization. The goal is to reach families to encourage community involvement.
